Layoff at Devtron
Arround 30% of the backend team at Devtron, Gurugram has been laid off citing performance issus which includes both Interns and full-time. The problem is they mentioned FTE on the offer letter of the interns still their offer were revoked.
All of them were hardworking guys who used to work for more then 10+ hours a day in office, completing their task in ASAP.
Performance was not an issue, they just wanted to layoff. Interns were paid 20 K per month and were expected to work like FTE with 1 to 2 year of experience.
A month before they started pressuring to complete and handover all the task as soon as possible to get it into production 😂 so that they are in no loss.
The layoff was done on the same day on the company organised a party to celebrate.
This is for people who will be joining them as Inter n or FTE. Do not join the company if you are not ready for this thing and you are not ready for toxic management and work culture.

And they have masterd thr strategy hire as much as intern you can so that pay less and more work fire whenever you want and hire new
No one in the office except 2-3 folks have > 4 YOE everyone is freshers and being exploited badly
