Just like Vauld, Marikoo turns out to be the biggest sell out of all time yet again. With Fraud Shamani and Chetan Bro-goat following him, they promoted a scam Startup Conference in Noida stating you can raise funding there, that too within 3 days.
Turns out you have to pay 💰 a boatload of cash to get into the conference. Now it turns out to be a scam when the organisers fled away with the money.
It’s a pity that people follow these charlatans who masquerade as superior beings while their true character is revealed in moments like this..
What have Akshat Shrivastava done, I think his points are worth thinking on, not saying follow him blindly.
Bruh 😂 No serious Finance guy would follow whatever Bakshat Shrivastava is dishing. He promoted Vauld, a crypto FD app, which stopped withdrawals altogether. He had to go on live and apologise to his audience. People couldn’t get their money back even till today and it’s been almost 9 months.

AI scams are already here. All those fancy sites with a cool demo on twitter and a waitlist for some AI product are vapourware and they are going to use the same waitlist numbers and fake demo to raise some vc cash.

He’s a Nepo Baby. Leveraged his network to get access to folks and then monetised on it by podcasts. Same playbook as Prakhar ke Pravachan.
Haven’t seen his work but I think their core audience is Tier2 & Tier3 city crowds, who is satisfied by generic content. Same case with Beer Batli, Warikoo etc

I got interested in the guy because I got triggered by a video he did with another pretend to know it all guy about startups being a scam (you could argue some startups are a scam but not the whole concept itself).
Anyway turns out his claim to fame is turning his family business of manufacturing soaps and detergents around. With a little more digging it seems like he didn't do much at all. He tried doing something in this line of business and ended up bumping his numbers by merging his company with his dad's chemical trading business. Worst of all, on all his paid for profile pieces he proudly claims that he ran a MLM scheme to increase sales. As for the actual product I couldn't find it on an Ecom platform or reviews.
Irony that the scammer is endorsing a scam event about an entire industry he has called out as a scam.
PS: Please watch that video. It's beyond me how these influencers will just turn on anything based on the flavour of the season.
