Hi can anyone tell me if laptop surrender is required in case of self initiated base location change.
If yes, no one is asking me to do it, my base location will be changed in next 9 days. Who will do the laptop surrender and new laptop request part??

I have the same doubt, but the asset policy says so. But if nobody is asking you, then I would just keep it with me but in ur case if you want to do it you have raise requests for both. Havibg location nd asset location as same is better as incase of physical issue, other locations may hesitate to support you.

Even i contacted group it they said if your manager is okay and hr is okay you can take the laptop with u
