Laptop screen damaged, what's the consequences?

Raise an Ultimatix ticket and go to the IS team in your office location and show them the ticket and they'll guide you. I have faced issues like this multiple times.

1. The laptop had screen issues where the screen showed multicolored jumping and dancing lines Had the screen replaced.
2. the Bezel came off ( completely off) - had the entire screen, Bezel etc replaced.
3. Had keyboard issues where multiple keys stopped working. - got the laptop exchanged ( thought at that time the mass exchange was going on) All 3 times I didn't pay anything.
   Please don't try to do anything on your own or visit the local service centre. That might get you in trouble as this is a TCS asset not your own.

Don’t reach out to ITIS team..Not every project the bear the cost.. It depends.. Get it replaced at near by local service center.. It will cost you very little…

Chill out. Inform your manager. 99% chance you don’t have pay anything. He will ask you to raise ariba request and it will get repaired by your project fund which is allocated for things like this to cover. Every project has this fund. Same happened to me, that time i got to know about this bit the whole process is long unless you keep following up with all the approvers. Don’t worry. This will not be applicable if you break your laptop 2nd time.

Try to buy the same and make it a personal laptop. Instead of paying them for repair.
