I'm existing employee and working with same laptop from last 5 years. Now I have to roll off from my current deal and roll on to the new deal due to project requirements. I have go for laptop reimaging. I have also checked with IT support team about my old laptop replacement and they said my laptop cam be replaced easily since it's already passed warrenty. The main problem is I'm not at base location and laptop replacement should be done from base location (as per IT team), if I have to do so then I need to travel Bangalore which is 2500 km from my hometown. What should I do ...how can I raise request for laptop replacement or is it possible to courier the laptop?
If bangalore is your old base location and you are in new base location the it team will facilitate courior . But neew laptop you will get only from current base location.
If bangalore is still your base loc. you have to visit.
Got my location changed in feb so i asked it team if i ever need to get laptop replaced soo.
But currently I'm doing wfh and if I go to Bangalore then my manager may say to stay here and follow hybrid mode like others are following..so I'm worried
Recently I have raised a replacement req Base location is Bangalore but laptop from Chennai
Reached out to asset team and they said any employee can surrender the laptop
You just have to give the ticket number, that's all. And if the person is a non Accenture employee means the asset team guy will go outside and collect it seems
I'd suggest if you have any friends in Accenture (base location)or Bangalore courier the laptop to them and ask them to surrender the old one and get a new laptop then courier back to you
Yes while raising request u have option to courior l. I think courier person comes to pick rather u courier.
