Trending @Accenture; Laptop keyboard not responding
My laptop keyboard is not responding as it seems ctrl key has been hard pressed... instead of going to base location can it be replaced by nearby Accenture office?? Also it's under warranty period can it be possible that service engineer come to my home for replacement?.. please tell me

So in that case you can request for getting it rectified by someone from their authorised service engineer.

So for this I don't have to go to base location? I can do it from my hometown or any nearby office?

Technically you cannot repair any office laptop by yourself it's against their policy. What I am saying is that you can raise support ticket to Accenture citing the issue and you can mention it's under warranty can you send someone from your side to get it repaired if they say yes then fine if not they you can go for any loc and get it replaced with new laptop.

Me who fixed same CTRL key issue myself 🗿

Bro please tell me how you have done? It will be very much helpful for me...as even external keyboard is not working for me

@WindyHub7 , In my case, It was issue with the key (hardware issue). I removed the key, cleaned it and installed again.
As in your case, external keyboard is also not working, then I am not sure.

Raise support ticket. Service engineer from the laptop brand will visit and replace the keyboard... No need to worry

Okay sir,I have already raised the Incidents again I will raise the ticket and request them for the nearby office location.....

And if they provide door to door facilities it's good for me as I recently suffered from accident and unable to walk without support 😞

Depends whether it is deal procured or company procured

What you mean by this term

If you are working with a deal then you need to check with your procurement team whether your laptop is deal (client) procured or Accenture procured. If that is Accenture procured then you can ask your SDL for the support. They might help if you cannot reach base location

If it's under warranty chances are that someone might come to your location but that was during COVID times not sure as of now. But if it's not under warranty you can request for any nearby locations and get it replaced you don't need to come to the base location for it.

It's under warranty and confirm from HP authorised service centre in my hometown and also it's just a keyboard issue

For laptop replacement it seems we need to go base location 😕😞.... but for keyboard issue entire laptop must not get replaced
