Laptop damaged & Replacement issue

Hi all, my laptop has been dead since last week. Connected with the nearby IS team (mumbai) & Dell support they confirmed its motherboard failure. IS said u can get new laptop replacement. But the issue is my base locn is different (bbsr) & I'm currently in Mumbai.

My base locn IS person said that u need to come here to submit a damaged laptop (as taken from here) & also for replacement.

Is it possible to get a laptop replacement from Mumbai location instead of going to base location? Has anyone done this before? Pls guide.
