Laptop ban??
What do you all think about the laptop import ban? Good or bad?
Bro, it the company has license then they can import, unsolicited import which is by the 3rd party vendors is prohibited, like some people who used the alibaba express to order in bulk right, that kind of imports are stopped. Companies like dell, apple wont be affected by this

What if it drives companies to setup manufacturing units within India 🤔
A protectionist move. It shows companies are not finding India that lucrative to manufacture based on other factors. High-end laptops will get expensive. But it may prove to be good in long term.
Only If they can replicate 50% success of mobile phone manufacturing in next 5 years. At least 20% of supply chain value add would be a W.
