Language wars in this country are going crazy
I thought this was just the case in the South, but saw a post in the Pune subreddit wherein they were telling Marathi guys to stop tolerating ppl speaking other language.
I made a post calling out this xenophobia ( clearly mentioned that I am born and bought up in Maharashtra)but instead of rational opinions all I got was go back to the state you came from etc, you outsiders have destroyed Maharashtra, stop sucking d*ck of North Indians, you are only alive because we Marathis tolerate you( like bruh I have literally wrote on top I am from here only and know Marathi) .
Is this the scene same IRL as well( except South)? Cause I have never seen such demented people IRL
This is common in any place that has an influx of companies, talent, and money, and non-real-estate natives with a sense of entitlement expect jobs to be given to them.
I think it's limited to degenerates on Reddit only. I posted about this on another Subreddit and people started bashing me again
But outside people came and they talk and treat the way they want to talk, so good lesson must be taught to them…. No bhai giri will be tolerated any where. You come to do job just do that…. Idhar aa k baap baan k leya try nahi kar ne ka. Earn good have good life and talk politely. You go to Mumbai and see these Bihari’s how they talk to local people as they have purchased Mumbai. You go anywhere work well but do not try to damage local eco system.
This language war has nothing to do with language conservation thought...
It's purely coming out of jealousy and fear.
Jealousy that outsiders (North Indians) are having better life and jobs and Fear that they might replace the natives from all the good and respectful posts.
But one cannot call it out on face so protests in the name of saving language is the easiest way for natives to trouble the North Indians.
Kindly note, neither natives are purely evil nor North Indians are angels. Few North Indians do behave as if they are king of this world which attracts a lot of negative criticism.
I don't know why we have this North or South Indian concept. We are Indians first ffs
Seen some dumb south girls who troll south guys themselves saying I would never be with em( this was my dumb ex)
No idea, where such non sensical people come and begin the disputes. I have not observed/faced such disputes myself anywhere in Pune or Bangalore. All such people are having ample amount of time to waste in disputes.
