Language war.
I believe the purpose of language is communication only. All the drama we are seeing in Bangalore and other cities around this political and out of spite. What do you think?

Until our governments and government agencies stop politicizing language, I welcome and support the drama. I don't want my taxes used for the promotion of language X. I don't want languages X, Y, Z to be mandated in schools and colleges.
In many European countries, customer-facing jobs even displayed messages like "we can speak to our customers in English, French, German, Polish, Russian, Arabic, Turkish and Tamil". Google Translate can help bridge some gaps. And yet, people in our government are arrogant.
If drama plays a role in reducing the arrogance of people in our government agencies, so be it.
