I will never suggest any fresher to join Capgemini. It's the worst company I could ever think of. Capgemini just laid off me because of any reason. I have just 2 years of experience. I am just feeling tense about my career. The Capgemini slogan is to get the future you want but it should get the depression you don't want.. so just save your future and never join Capgemini as a fresher

How you know they were on bench and for years? Had you been on bench for years and then got fired?
For freshers I am saying If you are on a bench for a long time then only they are firing. before firing they will schedule one hackerrank assessment.if you score less than 60 then they will fire otherwise they will not fire.
Sorry 😔 to hear this, so they direct sent a mail to self resign or what? But don't worry about it there are plenty of opportunities outside this company, Just prepare yourself and give interviews & All the best ❤️

If you're on the bench for 2 years then it's normal. Every company does even they would do it much earlier

Agreed. Either CG shouldn't have hired too much or they should have got more.projects.. neither of them are done. Hence leading to lots of ppl on bench. In NA AS TESTING nearly 25% ppl are on bench. 800-900 ppl out of 3800 ppl are on bench.
First company dont fire any freshers immediately because every fresher with bond sign for two or three years...As a new generation we are not taking such company seriously and most of new joiner does not get assigned to project quickly as they want specific types of work only i think..
Corporate company hire engineers because they are Engineer and they want Engineer..company normal expectations from new fresher to do any work whatever they assign to them as they are Engineer so they can do it...this is reality.
If you want to build your carrier in specific role/technology then avoid taking campus hiring or bond this are only trap i think for them
I suggest you dont worry ...if you have quality/knowledge good experience you can beat the market no one can stop you from shinning
...something happens for better only..so be positive
What is your domain? And don't worry on 2 yoe you have openings in market which you could try to crack and would get better opportunity there .
So sad to hear this, I will suggest to keeping trying outside, you will definitely get better opportunity somewhere else. Also could you share what were the reasons for firing ?
