Lack of Acknowledgement let alone appreciation

I don't know how many here are managing any engagements....but for those of you who are...

Do you feel you are sufficiently appreciated or even acknowledged by leadership for your efforts...or is it that the 2/10 tasks that you were not able to complete is something that's spoken to you more about ...in fact that's the only thing spoken to you about...

Am I alone to feel this?

I used to extend and do all tasks so that we do not miss deadlines and what I got in return is I was not doing enough.

Now I do 8/10 tasks and let the deadline pass but I do not extend. It's the same thing now as well that I am not doing enough. There are escalations on my name to senior manager but my senior manager does not tell me anything, infact they tell me not to open my laptop after work hours.

You'll need to set boundaries

Does that have impact on your growth within organisation?

It's kind of a different structure. The manager who loads me with work is on shore. I am in good terms with my manage and senior manager who will rate me.

The support from the senior manager is coming because I put down my papers because of excessive work and only then they realised that I was overburdened.

ofc my experience and opinion will be at lower level because you're at pwc, but I used to work like 12-13 hours straight and on most of the weekends as well if that gives more context.
