Trending @HCL; L1/L2 Roles in next 2 years

What is going to happen to L1/L2 technical roles in the coming years when we see the AI booming and taking away manual and most of the automation tasks as well. If expertise lies in troubleshooting operating systems, application and OS deployment, cloud level OS management, etc., what are the areas of opportunity to up-skill ourselves in such scenarios. AI seems to be dominating and IT jobs are more at stake than any other industry out there.
