Not everyone's path is linear. Some just fuck up. Like my case is somewhat similar if not worse.

I started my career with a good salary in a bank called Barclays. Then switched to join a very early stage startup. I was the first employee there. Hoping to learn more and earn eventually more through esops. Switched from dev to product role here. 4 years into the startup, neither I learned more and took a very bad toll on my salary. Then eventually joined a service company that gave some decent salary, but within 9 months left again as I had that urge to do more and better. This time I started my own thing, but couldn't get more than 3 customers and now I'm again looking for a job again. In between all of this, I tried my hands in multiple other things like running a bnb based in himachal, running a fish farm at my native place. But here I am once again looking for a job and believe me if tcs or any company offers anything, I'll just take it.

Why is Fractal considered a good company? I had never even heard its name untill someone had written “he works in FA”, and I was like wtf is FA!! All his companies looks silly ones only. I wonder why do these guys start flashing these organisations as if they are top 10 in the world kind…

Bhai sarkari naukari hai TCS, you go there ache package me in top positions, and enjoy life. I have seen senior ppl roaming around the campus and having chai pakora while getting huge pay as well. I have heard from one of my seniors... "Jooti pehno to Bata ki aur naukari kro to Tata ki."

[Thread] What is your favourite math equation?

TLDR: I was reading up on the Navier Stokes equations today and it is so elegant that it might be my favourite math equation.

Equation 1: ∇u = 0 (conservation of mass) states that the divergence of the velocity vector u is zero, mea...

( Relatively ) High paying non FAANG companies

Can we have a list of relatively high paying ( for example 10x the YOE ) which are non FAANG, now that FAANG is no longer the dream destination?

Higher pay comes at the cost of peace of mind or quality of work 🙌🏻

user

Confluent, Rubrik, Rippling, Dream11. Some of these companies pay far better than FAANG

TCS or Capgemini?

I am a mainframe developer with 10 years experience and have an offer from both TCS (25 lpa) and Capgemini (28 lpa). Which one could be a better choice overall, and not just monetary?
