Kudos to Ravish Kumar for unvieling the reality of the government

IT industry is going on the least downfall as compared to the last 20 years. College graduates are not getting jobs and the IT professionals are in the fear of loosing their jobs anytime. There is no surety for any company or any employee even of they have given their best for the last n number of years.

Some andhbhakts do vote

Our population is so huge that there are always going to be people who will vote on religious beliefs. For some development, governance can be a parameter but for some ideology. 90% muslims always vote for congress ? do you think they are voting for development etc ? A huge section of people do vote for ideology and that will never change in India.

Pointing out mistakes is fine. But just want to ask the options out here? Between Modi & Rahul Gandhi (probably the PM candidate)...I don't it can be much clearer than this. I see all these andhbhakt comments in this chat but I will rather be a Andhbhakt than vote for a person who has never held a position of power and wants the position of PM all because of his surname.

In politics you choose the lesser evil. You optimise for risk not for performance. So you choose Modiji over Rahul

Fuck Modi and Rahul, just vote for your local MP who will do good development for your city. Im suffering from a shit MP who just wins on Modi's name and it is sad. I know a lot of people vote national issues here, but a terrible MP makes the city you are born and raised in a living hell. Vote the best MP if you don't like either Modi or Rahul

This government is becoming dictatorial. They need to get kicked out of power. It will happen; maybe not this time. Congress at one point was unbeatable but now it’s in a bad position.

We lack educated people in India; majority of the population votes for a bag of rice or a bottle of alcohol. They don’t know their constitutional rights. Then there are people who vote on the lines of religion, caste, etc. BJP came to power with 37.36% voter percentage; 62.64% people voted against.

I don't see the dictatorship anywhere but still I'll answer. Why was congress unbeatable? Because they had a strong leader ( Indira Gandhi) or there was no opposition ( Manmohan Singh). This time both of these factors stand with Narendra Modi. And this voting on the basis of free alcohol and caste/religion has been going on for all eternity, so you can't just blame BJP for this. And to be honest, people voted for BJP because it promised abrogation of 370 and Ram Mandir (it was in their manifesto) and they proved it. So, in all fairness, they landed on their promises. Pointing out these 2 topics because they were nearly impossible to do.

be careful with opinion from ravish there is no technical substance involved and he is highly polarizing same if not less as the other media houses which are doing this for other side

Now INC is no saint either. RR for the last 2 years been critical to the government's approach of make in india and he said we should make india a service exporting nation rather than heavy manufacturing oriented (he sometime calls it china fetish) now imagine in the climate like today you would see even more job cuts and unemployment if india went berserk on service industry.

I'm not sure about current government's vision may be it's good may be it's bad ..but i can totally see that INC is even more clueless when it comes to large scale (high skilled) job creation. Few of the ministers do makes sense in INC but people close to royal family are not that bright so to speak.

India is far better even in terms of IT with respect to US or Europe. All of the companies are firing people in US and hiring in India so maybe Ravish kumar needs some more research

But the IT industry issue is a worldwide issue.

IT jobs are down everywhere, this is die to fed interest hike and AI. Blaming modi govt, calling voters as "bhakts" shows the foolishness of the ppl.

Grapevine is not political forum, however if you want to be an ass, then let me tell you the non-IT folks are much more happy, the economy growth (compared to global avg growth) is good, infrastructure growth is amazing, Terrorists are in fear & so does the terror supporters like PFI which got banned.

All the above points to stability & safety which some idiots seem to dislike.

Firing toh India ke bahar bhi ho rahi hai...it is first of all not india specific....on top of that, we need to create new avenues of employment...like tourism... Ayodhya temple will do that massively...par uspe bhi tumko Rona hai...in short tumko bas Rona hai...govt is spending on infra which will form based for economic growth....has it happened at this massive scale in india before? No na....I will listen to you if you come with me with a better alternative. Till then this by far the best thing we have...I agree a lot of scope to improve..but that is with everything and everyone

Actual layoffs = 10x reported layoffs

Very crucial to upskill oneself in specific domains. I believe the frugality is there to stay. Just like most government reports, the actual layoffs are much higher than what you read in news.
