What is happening with Krutrim? Can anyone from Ola confirm that is it just a wrapper over GPT or a legit ai model? The responses to answers are just terrible. It does not look like a beta product.
At this moment an Ola driver Anna gives you more accurate information than Ola Krutrim.
I had a technical discussion with them while interviewing to join them. At the moment it is just a wrapper but they did say in the long term they will train their own models trained on their own AI silicon but that is still at least a few years away and no guarantee it will happen so take that with a pinch of salt

They indeed have a silicon group now led by ex-Intel and ex-Microsoft hardware people, but needs to be seen if they’ll be any good at delivering good products.
I can only hypothesize. Something of that scale could not just be created just like that. Most probably a white labelled product.
As a developer it only makes me cringe when someone claims something their own when its actually just a white labelled product. Is Krutim white labelled? Only time will tell. It is less likely that its original work.
Looking at the history of Ola scooter, if not it’s an acquisition it must be white label purchase.
