KPMG Lean six sigma certification
Hi folks,
I'm considering enrolling for the program, it costs 23k, I was wondering if taking the certification actually helps improve the chances to get better opportunities. I'm in in my early twenties and have around 1 yr of experience.
The worth of six sigma depends on the kind of roles you want to target. There is no unified global standard for six sigma. There exist a lot of these certifications from a lot of companies. That said, if you want to go for six sigma certification, go for one from ASQ as that is the most recognised.
I took the KPMG six sigma green belt certification back in 2017 and it helped for a little while. Now I am pursuing a black belt from ASQ as it has more recognition in the international job market.
Do your research and choose wisely!
Any six sigma certification should be done from ISI ( india statistical institute) not from KPMG or similar .for them it's just a service or any other training institute to earn revenue .
