KPMG Hybrid Mode

Hi KPMG folks out there,

I m from Chennai and settled down there. Recently I got a offer from KPMG for Bangalore location.i got to know there are following the hybrid model now. I just wanted to know few insights.

Is there a possibility of transfer of location to Chennai after joining there.(I have a personal concern of accompanying for parents here for medical reasons).

Is there any chances of reporting to nearby office( in Chennai) instead of base location. (Coz in my previous org Infosys we can report to any nearby DC which will calculate it as WFO)

I know this is too much to ask for while we are switching for a change we need to compromise on things but I need to balance both. Please kindly pour your inputs.

For KPMG India it is possible, I know few people whose given base location is different and the reporting location is different, but it totally depends on the department/practice which you are into.

KGS doesn't even have an office in Chennai.

Not possible if you are part of KGS. Mandatory RTO is tracked within your base location..and mostly bangalore is for all

That’s not true. I have colleagues who are working from Gurgaon while their base location is blr without any formal exception.

Not sure about KGS but for KPMG you can report to any office and it will be counted as WFO.
