I am 8 months pregnant.When should I tell in office about my pregnancy that I will be going on maternity leave january last...seeing the current situation in TCS.

There is no need to worry you can take leave after 7th month of pregnancy anytime, if you are able to work without issues you can drag up to due date if you have approval for wfo exception (which you will get according to TCS policy), however you need to inform about it pregnancy n ML tentative date to your lead, manager and HR mail them formally n before that inform to ur lead n manager,
REMEMBER ACCORDING TO LAW A COMPANY CANNOT LAYOFF PREGNANT WOMEN N IN THEIR ML.

1 or 2 months before due date ...

I hope you are taking WFO exception, you can take 6 months WFO exception in pregnancy and 6 months after maternity leave. You need to apply for maternity leave on timesheet and submit doctors prescription which had Expected due date mentioned. You can start maternity leave anytime but for 6 months so better to start when you are very close to delivery date, helps you spend time with baby. Before that, continue working from hime

I am confused here.. you said you shared medical reports to get WFO, so dont they already know you are pregnant and will be going for ML sometime soon ???

Actually in my previous project I was pregnant and told my team about my pregnancy to get WFH...they approved it on basis of doctors prescription then they released in ...then in 35 days I got another project and not told in new team due to current situation in TCS...now I have reached 8 th month and planning to tell my team to gp on ML
