Kick-ass work, okay TC vs mindnumbing boring work, high TC

I am interviewing at two companies. One has great work but can only go 10% beyond my current TC. Another has the most boring work ever (even hiring manager was bored explaining it) but the TC will be very good (at least 40% more than my current TC).

Which one would you pick and why?

In my mind I think I want 2 but deep down I can only sustain in 1. What you do matters, have got to understand it some time back when I switched companies and they have shit work
