Trending @Accenture; Kept on PIP program, because I drop the paper

I just got to know that when you drop a paper in Accenture, they will keep you on PIP. This is seriously not good. The company is making the bad impression outside. I had a word with my manager and they are giving me example if let’s say you have a team of 10 and 2 People are dropping paper, so they will give a PIP to the people who has drop the paper and save the other eight people. They are not giving the PIP based on the performance, so this is totally a bad process.

No Accenture never put on pip once you resign.please raise in grievance portal.Team will reach out and resolve your issue by removing you from pip and also moving out project during notice period

There is no such policy that employees will move in PIP if they resign from the company. So don't worry.

Project Manager is misusing the Accenture PIP program for his convenience to screw someone for resigning

What is pip program

PIP should be completely on the basis of performance only. If your performance has been good and you have the records of it, you should escalate it with HR and ask them to raise a grievance. Your manager will be in trouble cause they cannot just put anyone on PIP

This is because project want to save some money you will get bonus during June cycle as per policy but since you drop paper your project stop you bonus and all.. You can simply threat them with labour law I will file complain and all tell. To HR with all evidence

So there is no notice has been given by the management, but when I had a word with my manager, he clearly told me that in the June cycle, the appraisal will be there and they have to keep 10% of VIP so they will put the people who has dropped the paper on the PIP, rather than giving the PIP to the people who are still in the company

If you have already put your papers, by June you’d already have left the company.

How to know if you’re kept on PIP? And what’s the use of PIP if we’re already resigning

So don't fall for the manager trap .Instead saving his favourite teammates. He recommended your name in PIP.

Since you are unable to clear PIP.In your relieving letter there will statements you are failed in PIP .because that no company will onboard.

So don't keep quiet

This is against labour law and to taken legally. We need to take legally help for these otherwise if we keep on fearing them their exploitation will keep on increasing.Company can terminate immediately with no fixed notice period whereas if employee leaves then have to serve 3 months notice, putting on pip after resign all need to taken legally and it's high time now that we it employees need to have some union like doctors

I was put in PIP in Accenture. So if you've put down your papers and they've put on PIP, then that's a good thing, because if you don't clear PIP they will release you early since you're on your notice period, therefore on the day of your PIP result, if marked unsuccessful, you'll be released early and that day will be considered as your LWD. If successful, you can serve the rest of your notice period. Either way, no loss for you.
