If you can’t afford, then wait till week 2. This is a simple game of demand and supply. The most expensive tickets are sold out/almost gone so evidently there’s a market for it.
The ₹1000-2000 price window for movie tickets in the first week in decent screens is rather normal now. If I can’t afford the first week prices, I just wait until the next week instead 🤷🏻♂️
The point is that the prices are too high for an average Joe. Prices are generally an indication of Purchasing power, if this is what PP is then I am not mentally prepared to pay this much for a movie ticket.
There are theaters where average joes can watch these movies at cheaper rates. If you want to watch at a fancy place, be ready for the higher price.
I only watch 1 or 2 movies in the theatre per year and I definitely think this is pretty ok considering the quality of the theatre and the movie itself. 👍🏻
