Justice for Parag

I am an ex twitter employee, I can vouch how Parag and Vijaya gave their heart and soul to create a platform which was safe and trustworthy. Bad business tricks and viciousness of Elon Musk took away everything from Twitter and its employees and made the platform a garbage.

Thanks this is a very unique perspective

Also when they say Parag and Vijaya were left leaning, its BS. They used to deal with SOP and process and never took decisions according to their individual thoughts.

There is two front for this debates. 1. Before elon - Twitter was left leaning and after the Twitter bloodbath ,the Twitter has been fairly both sided. Leftists are pissed with this development including the ex-employees. 2. Elon had a plan before taking over. That includes - making Twitter partially free, cutting down expenses and employees, all rownd x platform, making x a platform for both political side, conservatives and liberals debate, Less policing of content. These plans will be certainly hated for the time to come. With us elections coming this nov, it's going to mint a lot of money. He(Elon) made sure this platform makes a lot of uncomfortable situation for Disney, cnn, fox and all mainstream print media.

+1 it’s a more centrist organization now
Previously Twitter was very liberal biased

There’s a difference between free speech and making up stuff and lying and putting it under the garb of free speech which conservatives tend to do

Management literally wanted a dumb person as CEO because they knew what was going to happen. Parag got paid for it in Millions! Dudes still mot over it! I am not an Elon fan, but Parag literally got asked of what he achieved on a particular day in terms of work. Just like how a manager asks an intern or a junior. That was a delicacy to read.

Really? What company would put a dumb person at its helm as a strategy? Sounds like very flawed logic man

Parag successfully forced the sale of the company at 2x it's valuation - enriching every single shareholder on the board, which is what he was made CEO for.
If Twitter wants to fight a legal contract for severance packages, it's their funeral. It's not just Parag, most Twitter employees were fired without severance which breached their contracts.
So who's really the dumb guy here, the guy who sold a company at 2x valuation, the guy who signed an agreement to buy it and then violated it's employment contracts, or the guy commenting that the person who sold it is an idiot. Definitely seems to have outsmarted Elon.

Entitled AF executives do this to other employees all year round. Now that they're tasting their own medicine, they want compensation for it. Right...

Executives actually think they deserve $125M after they get fired

They never fired anyone, all layoffs happened post elon acquired twitter. Other companies laid-off 15%-20% staff and he moved 80% staff out. Removed all the imp teams like Human rights, child safety, porno control, and many more.

Why this hate against Parag?

It’s not hate. Just funny that they want 100s of millions for nothing

It was a part of the contract, not for nothing ! Twitter stocks were dwindling and suing Musk so that he doesn’t get away with backing off from the deal and the damage that he had caused. He had this clause added knowing that he would lose his job the day Musk took over but he still pushed through with the acquisition.
