Trending @Accenture; Just wanted to know why people in Maharashtra do not have sick leaves ? Where as people in other States have seperate sick leaves ?

We have 45 carry forward earned leave, much higher than any other state

Earlier rule was same across india, policy changed on 1 Jan 2024, now policy is more aligned with state government policy and guidance. This is why you will see different leaves for each state.

Because they have strong immunity 🤣🤣

Same in Bangalore, we have 12 sick and casual leaves combined, whereas in Delhi/noida it's separate.. so it depends on state's labour laws.

Because we don't fall sick but jokes apart, what I heard its in Maharashtra labour law or leave policy
