Just sharing my experience on promotion

This is the flow,

Manager > unit head > HR

C1 > C2

Every quarter promotion will be initiated by sharing names of each tower

Recent scenario is different

I have 6.5 years C1 but im eligible when joined

I asked to wait for an year then 2023 Q1 it was intiated

Every quarter i asked but i know they lied. They put some effort from there end at the end it with the management

But last promotion was released on 2024 December

Then hike stopped

Now if you get promotion it will be dry no hike

Inform your manager if it dry promotion don’t initiate

Once hike letter released then only next promotion nomination will be opened

These are the information which i got from HR

Sometime I can see HR itself doesn’t know what is happening in TCS 😂😂

Note: I’m not here to give false information or critique about the company. This is the reality which needs to accepted. Still people are hoping for the same.

Until unless you receive a official letter nothing is true
