Important Update!
This will help to all associates who are working in TCS.
Had a connect with RMG SPOC at DP yesterday and here is the MOM covering major points.
- No wfh for bench associates for any reason climate or any other ( if not able to come to office then should apply leave)
- Deccan park is only for C4 and C5 grades all other grades C1, C2, C3A and C3B should report to adibatla office and to dedicated zone else it will not be considered even if you spend 9 hrs also in DP.
- Bench associates should report daily and 9 hrs per day.
- If anyone is not at all reporting to mentioned zone from the time they are unallocated will be considered as absconding and show cause notice will be sent to their address by post.
- Manual reporting is not necessary in adibatla, if you come daily and stays 9 hrs then that's enough.
- 4 to 6 Hrs of learning
- 35 bench days includes weekends as well.
- All above and other are being monitored by a dedicated team.
When it comes to project allocation.
- Project allocation. For C1 and C2: RMG responsibility is 90% while Associate's responsibility is 10% Whereas for C3A and above: RMG responsibility is 10% and Associate's responsibility is 90% since they are already in higher position and have contacts.
- Associates cannot jump from one account to another account directly after the release from the project they must get assigned to RMG first so RMG can provide approval to new account and deploy faster else in case if employee is not detagged and got selected for another project then they may lose that opportunity as they cannot jump from one account to other directly, so for this detagging must be done soon after release
- Associates shouldn't go on interview without informing RMG because RMG might also have arranged interview on the same day and time.
- Interview must be scheduled first
- Associates must be reachable on mobile for scheduling interview and also for telephonic interview via mobile in case they don't have teams access/license
- Project must be of long term like 2yr or 1yr or atleast 6 months.
- In case if you get selected for a project then RMG will be the final authority to take call no matter you accepted the project.
- RMG will utmost try looking for a project with considering primary skills and preferred location but Associate should be ready to accept any location and shift timings incase if they are not getting project and running out of time as they have signed the appointment letter which says the above.
- In case if you selected for a project and started reporting to project and taking KTs and all and after two weeks if project doesn't give allocation and releases you saying budget concerns then those weeks also counted in 35 days.(but this is something different and if properly communicated to RMG time to time then may get relaxation on this).
- For RMG rejection is considered as rejection no matter if project rejects the profile or Associate rejects the project due to location and shift timings constraints.
Note: On non-compliance of above said instructions on reporting location and stay hrs And or project negative feedbacks, RMG will communicate through email twice (for C1 to C3B) and once (for C4 and C5) and post that will wait for 35 days and take action accordingly (ask to put down papers).
Non compliance of reporting location and rejection from interview both will be treated as negative feedback, and upon reaching 3 negative feedbacks for C1 to C3B and 2 negative feedbacks for C4 and C5 Or completion of 35 days whichever is earlier RMG will take action according.
And at last RMG said these are the policies that says this but we're currently not following it strictly but if you force us to do then you will be in trouble.
Only those associates may report to deccan park if reporting person sits there and they have been asked to meet them.
These are the points to keep in mind.

This organization is a sinking ship, the policy makers are digging a hole themselves

Why to streamline very badly. One statement by CEO NOTICE PERIOD - 35 Days. This will serve their purpose. Strength will be reduced to 50%. Looks like leadership can even sell the company if given more money. TCS is sinking & cannot be bought back

Utter flop policies , this company has fallen already

TCS is not converting crisis to opportunity.
Instead they are digging deep & looking ugly.
Crisis is temporary, very soon hope employees ask mgmt how fast we should go out of the organisation. TCS should distribute pamphlet to join.

Even schools do not have these many rules

As stated above, RMG is final authority, they cannot take responsibility of allocation of senior people. RMG has all the rights, without responsibility/accountability. Pathetic!!

C3B above have contacts then RMG have 10% responsibility? Then should they layoff RMG since they are only handling low grade employees and it’s easy. That’s the reasoning with can be applied.

TCS is a sinking ship now🤬
