Just hit my first milestone in mutual funds 🥹
Hi everyone.
This month I wanted to share a very exciting news for me with all of you.
I have finally hit my first milestone of 1cr in mutual funds after 7 years of investing. (Including a 2 year break in the middle when I went for my post grad)
Want to hit the number of 10cr in the next 10 years. Do you guys think it'll be possible? Some guidance will be helpful on how to achieve it.

5 crore in 10 years can be done... 10 is difficult

I do about 1.5L SIP right now and some lump sum here and there. What if I do a step up every year of about 10%?
I'm asking because earlier I didn't do 10% step ups. Just arbitrary increases based on salary increases or bonuses.

1st crore is always the most difficult. If the market continues like this, 10Cr is definitely doable.

Bro could you plzz tell me what are all mutual funds that you have right now? Which one have SIP ??

Hey, First of all congratulations for reaching the Milestone. Can you explain Year wise when u started, how much each year u put and each year return can u tell me?

Thank you 😁 Bro first year was only 24k (2k per month) I had no idea how mutual funds worked. This was in 2017 I think.
Then I slowly increased it to 50k then 1L and so on. I very recently increased it to 1.5 actually. Let's say about 5 months ago.
Tbh it's the lumpsum that also helped here and salary increase after post grad. I got some ESOP liquidity and put it all in mutual funds 😬

How much is your monthly salary that you are able to invest 1.5L?

What's ur CTC? And it's breakup if you can disclose

Bhai 🥲

Crorepati 🫡

Market may not remain bullish throughout. Make sure you pump up some money whenever the market is down and you know it'd recover

I try to keep some money in FDs or other alt assets that I shift to mutual funds as soon as there is a dip.
But yes you are right. Even I'm scared.
A 5% dip and I won't have 1 Cr anymore 😂😂

Don't worry. Build up the stomach for absorbing huge absolute notional loss. You are playing in the big leagues now
