Poor need to be empowered so that they can earn and become richer . If you are planning only to feed somebody for free , you are diminishing your wealth - exactly how freebie culture works . Secondly , war is not happening for Fun . It’s always a repercussion to something that a country faces for his or someone else’s deeds . Comparing wars and feeding poor has got no relevance

Give money to the beggar, they use it to buy drugs from their racket leader. Give the beggar some groceries, they sell it back to the store to get money and buy drugs from their racket leader. Give them food, they will eat but it won't get them out of the misery. Super rich might have the power to empower them enough to get out of misery but a sudden change would leave them confused about what to do in life. Not having a home, food, money is a hard situation but it is not confusing. At least they know what they need to do in life. A middle class student suicides even after having everything to live his life only because he is confused. So uplifting the poor can give them problems worse than sleeping hungry. Instead slow change is required.
