Just causal checkup
So guys here I'm like on paper i have around 4.5 YOE as backend software engineer. But I'm not really sure like if i know all the stuff a guy at this level should know. I just do things without delving deeper for eg you ask me u want a project doings xyz things. I'll somehow make that it's gonna be working bt i dont know stuff like why it's working or if tht could be done in better way? I fumble alot in interviews where we r judged upon tech skills system design and sometimes these behavioral questions which we need to give answers in STAR method tht really sucks. Is it me or anyone else on same boat? And how r u guys managing?
Observe how your senior Developers conduct themselves and approach a problem. I am myself facing same situation. I am approaching this issue as abovementioned
Dw we are all the same, the level of maturity to be able to answer those interview questions comes with 5-6 yoe minimum. Gotta take time and prepare for interviews
