Just a thought

I commute 2 hrs everyday to the office, plus the cost associated with it, plus the commuting strain and stress. I get QVA almost equal to commuting expenses incurred to the office. No use visiting the office as all our team scattered across India and I'm the only one here. What's the benefit ? have thought to give up my QVA and if they want ready to give up tier 1 HRA as well. what would happen if I stop visiting offc?

Earlier it would have been fine but with recent HR changes at top level, there are rumours of crazy policy changes incoming. Better not risk it.

We will get to know from April 1st. It can be extreme to ensure WFO is adhered maximum.

I have given up my QVA. It’s zero now every quarter. No way my I’m torturing myself with total 4 hours of commute per day ( 2 hours each way). I’ll make up the money lost when I switch to my next job.

Heard they will send new compensation letter with reduced salary after multiple warning mails. It will be with reduction in all components, not only qva.

Many folks are already doing this , giving up their QVA and working from home. HR's just do an email for WFO and thats it.

OMG! Hope they won't change NP from 90 days to 180 days
