What a beautiful sector in India - neo banking. Lost because of the poor leadership and management decisions at the bunch of startup’s who were supposed to be the flag bearers of this sector. Wish the sector gets its due recognition as a product customer segment and huge huge monetisation. Someone please revive it.
True there is a need for a wrapper called neo banking. But it's ruined by ??? God-level syndrome, not useful products, incompetent middle level directors who don't know their products in and out, again director level middle managers who didn't even know banking forget the details of how products works and it's positive and negative effects on the user, dropping products at will which has a use again this points to the fact that you dont know banking, not defining user persona for advisory, and many more
I've talked to Jiten many times and can understand his aptitude. He is a true entrepreneurial material and know what he is building but he can't do micro management.
Something which works in food tech is not a guarantee that the same thing would work in banking flow.
