Trending @Capgemini; July Promotion

Today, I got promotion mail. But there is not mentioned about hike and not attached any pdf file. Will they give hike also with promotion or not promotion? Anyone has idea or anyone got promotion in July cycle?

All the promoted folks. Get ready for 2-3-4 percent of hike in DCX BU. It's bad but it's a reality.

Non promoted colleagues are lucky.

How non-promoted folks are lucky?

Atleast if they will get it at right time. The hike will be better. Promotion at 3-4% hike means nothing.

Ah same BU. I’m expecting a promotion as well, let’s see. But, to answer your question, yes, first you get a mail from the BU Head saying you’re promoted. For DCX, it’s Sanjay Binyala. Is it from him you got the mail? And yes, probably before the month ends you’ll get a mail from comp.in@capgemini.com, the IN Comp team with your updated CTC structure in a formal PDF letter attached. And yes, even though you didn’t ask, few people might have this question, even if you’re promoted now and have got a hike, you’re still eligible for an annual hike effective april next year. Hope I was able to clear your queries

Anyone else got promoted from DCX BU? What hike are you expecting / what did you get in your last appraisal? Details along with grade would be more helpful 😄
