So, my manager hits me with this classic: “The door’s always open. If you’re not happy, just leave.”

Raise concerns? No, they’ve got one response: “This is what you get. Not interested? LEAVE.”

I thought about justifying my achievements, but then I realized—what’s the point? They’ll just brush it off, and you’ll be the one getting insulted. At that moment, I was this close to either absconding or resigning right on the spot!

They’ve been dragging us along this whole time, like dangling a bone in front of a dog. So, here’s the takeaway: act wisely. If you’re not satisfied, don’t waste your energy—just leave.

Bro, tbh, i am not even expecting 1% of hike. Just preparing for interviews. will leave soon. Then after 1year again i ll leave my next company. My Assc manager played a dirty game with me last year and here i am , dont even remember his name😅. No fkng body matters in this corporate world. Typical chasing and licking game. One of my senior told me.”*****,just upskill your self and move” none of them are here, most of my seniors or bros just left for Masters or other companies 😅. I don’t play bonding games here . The weather here is always cloudy. Nothing is transparent here. As a manager you might have played with some juniors , may be its just your turn🙂

Great and all the best.. jump is good and ensure you upskill also again- this year all these drama were played by HRs and MDs, your AM, M, SM has nothing to do with this..

Our situation is more pitiful.. in my circle, some of the Ms were directly told, start looking for opportunities, anything can happen in June.. it is a sign of threatening with lay offs

Can anyone reply who is the one who takes all the decisions because from the last year I am cursing a SM & AD😅😁 , coz of they robbed my productivity and using my charge code promoted someone who does not know anything, i wanted to know the truth, is the game played by HR & MD?😂 The right answer helpy me to get some peace 🕊️@ everyone

This is highly unfair and such attitude is a way of exploiting resources. Even managers know the market is not great and situation here is going to be pathetic irrespective. The least they can do is raise a voice when they are in a position where their voice is heard.
