Journey from tier 3 to FAANG

I am a B. Tech student from a tier 3 college working in a decent product based company SAP Labs at 25 LPA in 4 YOE. I want to grow my salary exponentially by switching to a better product based company/ early stage startup.

Because of my tier 3 tag, my profile is not shortlisting at all.

So i am thinking to build a full production level web application as a personal project with:

1. frontend in React,
2. backend in Node js ,
3. ml data model integration using python and FAST Api,
4. data modelling using postGRE SQL/CAPM CDS,
5. using docker as container and deploying using Render/Fly.io
6. Hosting web application on a personal domain

This is not a clone project so I will analyse a proper use case and then build app out of it.

Any idea/input will be welcome and will this plan have any added advantage in resume shortlisting?
