Journey from 10 LPA to 20 LPA
When I was completing almost four years in the same company, things had started to feel stuck. I had a three-month notice period, and because of that, I wasn’t even getting interview calls. Somewhere inside, I knew I had to take a risk. So, one day, I finally decided to put down my papers.
The first few weeks were tough. I gave interviews, but most of them ended in rejections. Self-doubt started creeping in. Still, I kept going. And then, finally, one day, I got my first offer letter. That moment changed everything. My confidence shot up, and suddenly, every interview I attended started turning into an offer.
But with offers also came a new kind of problem. As the joining dates got closer, I realized I couldn’t join everywhere. The toughest part was telling HR, “I won’t be able to join.” Saying no wasn’t easy—it always felt uncomfortable—but it was something I had to do. That phase taught me that the journey of switching jobs is not just about clearing interviews, but also about making bold choices and handling rejections gracefully.

Congratulations. I am in the same boat waiting to complete 4 years and then switch. My current CTC is 13lpa is 20+lpa possible for Java devs?

It happened with me I am joining my next company on 1st September... I had accepted 3 offer I rejected 4 offers due to location and budget.. faced rejection in around 60 companies to be exact..
I am joining one of my dream company on Monday !!

Tech stack? How did you got the most of the opportunity ? Like from naukari or referral? In same boat, on notice period already still not getting much interview scheduled. Hence no offer. If you could tell key points would be helpful. Thanks
Mostly apply through Naukri, and in the beginning don’t ask for too much—just request around a 30% hike on your current CTC and stay open to relocation. Once you secure your first offer, you can gradually increase your expectations.

I just jumped from 11 to 28.5 in one switch. Its hard but possible. Keep griding boys.

What's your tech stack and year of experience?

it's dsa was needed and what's your tech stack and yoe?

Well same story here, I have 3 years of experience, with 9.5LPA, I felt stuck and doing the same repetitive work, at one point I even automated my work and didn't tell anyone, i got bored and put my papers, I still have 1 month of notice to serve, but already hold an offer for 19LPA.

Im also in same boat,my notice period is 90 days but not put paper. Every day updateing naukri profile still not getting much interview scheduled. Hence no offer. I don’t know weather my resume is good or not may be my luck is not with me.Can I ask 70-80% high can in first offer. If you could tell key points would be helpful. 3 YOE . Net Full stack developer/.net Developer Current ctc - 8.5 Lpa

I will say try for mass recruitment companies first, you can convince them for the 90 days notice, you can counter by saying their company also has 90 days notice.
First quote, but even get an offer for 50% and put the papers, once you are in notice period you will get calls. And in the last month you will get tons of call.

I am a Finance guy with the same thing..I am stuck at 20 LPA with 6 years in current company, 30Y, total 7 YoE..what to do, I am stuck
Prepare for switch, make visibility on LinkedIn, what will be in hand salary in 20LPA?
