Joining TCS as innovator | Advice needed

Hey there

I will be joining TCS as an innovator in the coming few months but I am getting scared by the things I have read like the stuff about office politics, favouritism and siling layoffs. Is it still the case.

What should I do ? Is there something I should be worried about ? If I am getting similar compensation from some other company with remote work option what should I do?
