Joining Client after resigning TCS

Can TCS take any action against you if you join your client directly without going through a cool off period?If yes, do you all know any such example and what kind of action can be taken?

You can't join. The policy is not from TCS or rather from clients. So if you're not being transferred by notifying and resign and go. The client background check will fail and reject you 😂. So make sure to have a word with the client about the policy and procedure to get in.
