Joined in May end and released now due to budget issue got a call from other manager even before i am released New project CITI should join?

Joined in May and due to budget constraints will be released from this project, When i asked my manager is there any negative review she said no but not sure weather it was a budget issue or performance issue and i got a call from one person stating that got my profile from RMG i am still tagged in the current project he said will have tech discussion and will decide one colleague is going on maternity leave i will replace her he mentioned.

CITI is a good project or not? Any inputs appreciated?
