Having had a pet in my family, not so big on terminologies but most people prefer being called pet parents over pet owners. So maybe approach it from that angle, because that's your ideal ICP given the empathic quotient that they have associated as parenting their furry four legged members as opposed to owning. I noticed you've mentioned it in between having been a parent yourself, but I know a lot of my friends with furry members hate the moment somebody says they own their member
None the less, sharing it with my folks for a more wholesome detail to your survey :) I know it's still early, but the word and association matters a lot in these areas imo
