Trending @Accenture; Jobs of COBOL/MAINFRAME technology

Hi guys, is there anyone working in the cobol / mainframe looking to change technology or have done it already? I have been working in this technology for 3+ years. I am thinking about switching to a new technology now because everyone tells me this is outdated & not a good tech to pursue long term. What are your thoughts?
