Job Opportunity: Data Scientist – CPG Business Unit

We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our CPG business unit, working on AI/ML solutions that drive sustainability for leading global consumer goods companies. This role offers exposure to the latest industry trends, cutting-edge analytical models, and emerging technologies with direct business impact.

Responsibilities include:

1. Designing and delivering end-to-end ML solutions, from data preparation to deployment
2. Conducting research and experimentation on advanced techniques
3. Analyzing large and complex datasets to uncover actionable insights
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions
5. Building integrations and APIs to operationalize data science outputs

Must-have competencies:

1. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and version control (Git)
2. Strong foundation in modern ML/DL techniques and frameworks (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
3. Experience working with large datasets and geospatial intelligence tools
4. Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Good-to-have competencies:

1. Masters in relevant field
2. Background in NLP, text mining, or real-time ML deployment
3. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and orchestration tools (Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes)
4. ML engineering certifications
