No not a good idea, don't listen to anyone who says otherwise, think logically. The industry is quite bad right now. Competition is high. Still if u wanna switch, this is my suggestion. First put your notice period as 30 days in linkedin/Naukri. U will start getting interview calls. U will fail a lot, pass a few. Keep giving more interviews, once u get a good enough package then go to TCS and tell them extreme situation like I got cancer I need to travel to US for immediate treatment, or my wife is having complications, or my mother is diagonised with so and so and I'm leaving for Germany next month. I have already booked tickets. I won't be returning for 6 months atleast and hence I'm putting in my papers. I need immediate release. The HRs have no choice but to give or they lose charge ability from clients.

If u don't wanna go with extreme excuses, go with less extreme ones, but the point is 90 days isn't fixed in any company okay. It's negotiable.

Why not get a referral from any service based org? Salary will be less but they'll wait for 90days. I've seen few companies like big4, Capgemini etc. So you'll get a backup option and then go for other company's interviews during those 90 days by filling np less than 90.

Yes it is a good idea. With a 90 day notice period who will hire you?
