Job switch

I am a hospitality school grad, now working at LinkedIn in the support engineering. I never joined hotel and rather joined aviation operations (inflight services) after graduation. It was difficult for me to change from aviation and move into core tech operations. But up-skilling helped me. I also took semi technical and operations role before completely moving to tech. I would say figure out the industry, look for the skill required, upskill and then make a move. It will be difficult but it is possible.
