Job Suggestions

I am an MBA in HR and currently working as a HRIS consultant for almost 3 years, which is more as a Tech HR role. If I would like to take a core HR professional role how should I proceed so that my current experience just does not get in vain ? Which HR role is suitable for frequent travel? I am a travel freak person but not able to make it due to the tight work schedule.
