Job search failure
Hi, I have 2.7 yoe I applied for a company with JD of 3 YOE. I applied because 3 months notice period and job process will take upto 2 months. Is it wrong ? By the time I join that company i would have 3 yoe completed but the initial screening call the person was very rude I even apologised since I was not aware they just cut the call. I’m feeling bad and struck. I dont know about these job hunt process. Can someone help me with these
My first question is are you still an ASE after 2.7 years of exp? You should speak up bro, get a promotion and leave.
Now coming to your question, some PBCs like Visa, Intuit are okay this (your scenario) but most MNCs have strict expectations (or even higher) like if they put "3 yoe", they expect 3.5 or more.
At the end it will all depend on HR.
Yeah bro they are not giving promo as well… im feeling struck cannot apply anywhere since its 3 yoe . When googled jan-feb is the hiring month it said so if i leave this IDK whats going to happen
