Trending @Cognizant; Job Rejection

Hey guys,

How do you handle job rejection? Especially when you're considered till the very last round. It hurts a lot. It has been very difficult for me to cope with the rejection. It was my only option to get out of CTS.

It could be difficult depending on different situation. The only option I would suggest is to analyze what went wrong and what went good. Understand the strengths and work on your weaknesses. Regarding the job market, it's a tough time now. But it's not always going to be like this. Give it a quarter, and things will be positive.

Thanks for the suggestions. Appreciate that! I think it would take some time to sink in :)

Happened to me twice. I cleared all technical rounds, then there was HR round. Every question they asked very generic like "How do you handle pressure", "What would you do if manager shouts at you" etc. I thought I bagged the job, only to get a rejection mail stating I don't fit the role. Thing is, they are right in their own way.
You may not FIT in their team, despite being awesome. Every interview is an experience. Life doesn't stop coz you didn't get into XYZ. all we can do is, keep on appearing for interviews. I know you want to leave CTS immediately, but that feeling will not end after you leave CTS. What if next company is toxic? so try to be calm. Do something that shifts your focus away from rejection, like a lite jog or music 🎶. It helps. All the best

Agreed. I'm completely aligned with the fact that if it's not happening as per your wish, then god would be having a much better plan for you. Will come back stronger. Thanks!
