Job migration dilemma

Male, 32, married Combined CTC: 50 lakhs

Working our way to making our corpus, but we are confused if we should move to any first world country like USA or UK, gulf countries OR continue in India

Whats your opinion on moving abroad and starting afresh at this stage of like?

Background: No loans Both working in product management Higher Education: done and dusted No kids, planning to have after 3 years or so

Is India worth the social issues considering low cost of living

Is moving abroad worth the risk of starting afresh, risking settled jobs and visa issues

Help a fellow mate here ✌🏻

Disclaimer - I am someone who lived abroad and came back.
So my input here is - “Everyone should explore and see if it works for them or not”.

I won’t go into typical reasoning of better roads, air blah blah. Every country has its good/bads. Before taking a leap, try going on a tourist visa, rent a Airbnb, feel the ground realities and then decide for yourself.

Totally agree. I am someone who came back due to my own situation. No regrets so far.

Moving abroad is the clear better choice.

Since not yet married, suggest you to explore migrating and stay for 2-3 years before you take a final decision.

For US, What i have seen is most ppl return back when the kids are into 7-8grade to continue higher education here in India . Also , tuition fee is way higher in US for Bachelors . Then parents settle back and kids go back to masters.

All the big tech companies are moving to India that’s one of the best reason to stay in India. They give 1/3rd TC when compared with USA but cost of living here is 1/5th of USA.
