Job Market Going Nuts
What is really going on with job market where have all the recruiters left suddenly? I have over 7 years of backend experience in distributed systems and my current CTC around 35 to 40 LPA for SDE2. I have uploaded ATS friendly resume in indeed, naukri, linkedin and instahyre. It had been hardly a month and I just got call from 1 company. This is driving me crazy all though I am not in notice period but in a tight situation with my manager. Any tips on what is happening here. No calls no interview scheduled.
Wait till you have 15 years of work experience. Then let us know how many calls you get.
Two reasons - bad market. And this the year end time
Hiring numbers, budget etc gets decided at the start of year. By this time, people have already wind up their work for the year and planning the winter break. Try post feb/ march
I am a junior SDE. Pretty solid resume in terms of experience I would say. Working for a Unicorn Startup. Still finding it hard to even get 1 OA after selectively applying to positions matching my skills and min requirements.
I thought somethings wrong with me 😂 seeing your post, will try to cope with “the market is bad”.
Maybe the market actually is a bit slow this quarter. Should bounce back after the next 6 months.
