Job market Down
Hi people , i left my company because of salary issues in October last year , since from them i am applying for jobs , but my profile is not shortlisting , can u tell like what i should do different to get shortlisted ? I am a MERN stack dev (2yr exp)
- Don't apply to jobs older than a week.
- Don't just use LinkedIn. Use Naukri (which is how I got placed) , instahyre , indeed , cuvette, foundit etc etc
- Apply to 10-20 jobs everyday (which is what I did). I applied to over 1000 jobs . So it'll take time. Don't lose hope

The market is bullshit and the applications are getting rejected for no reason at all. The referrals are not working tbh. Just get into whatever you get. It's pathetic out here. I really was hoping for a good mnc bank to contact me. But despite passing the assessment, i still didn't receive a call. And other recruiters are just collecting resumes tbh. So take whatever you get and move on. I have literally started hating on Indian market now. Good luck with your job search though!!!!
I also sent resumes to whom i know , to give refferals , still that doesnt work
