Job Application Rejected At HR round in Infosys

I successfully cleared the technical and manager rounds at Infosys, and then received an email from HR asking me to update my basic details, such as education, work experience, and expected salary, on the career portal. After updating these details, my application was unexpectedly rejected. Both of my interview feedbacks were positive, so I’m unsure why my profile was rejected before the HR round. One possible reason I suspect is that I mentioned an expected salary of 24 LPA for 7 years of IT experience in development. Any insights or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

This is very rare case....most HR in WITCH companies go with candidates with lesser salary...

Many times they want to check the price in which they are getting quality of talent.. In my opinion they found 24 LPA is high as per knowledge...

But HR should discuss to lower expectations before closing
